Gmail Cheat Sheet
Inbox and Navigation
Click Settings > See all Settings > General tab to review the many features to personalize Gmail
Click the mail icon to open your email view and navigate your inbox
Click the chat window to open direct chats without having to leave Gmail
Click the person icon to open your Spaces. All team Spaces and their messages can be found here.
Open video and audio meetings scheduled in your calendar. Join from here without having to leave your Gmail view.
Composing
To compose a message, select the pencil icon or use the keyboard shortcut C (Shortcuts must be enabled for this to work, which can be turned on in your settings.)
Add recipients in the to field. To CC or BCC individuals, select the icons in the right corner to expand the fields
Add a subject line
Click the A icon enable or disable the format bar. Select from the bar classic formatting options (Font style, size, bold, italicize, underline, etc.)
Add files, links, emojis, and direct Drive attachments from this bar
Anytime you see a three dot icon, know you can select it and see more options
The trash can icon allows you to delete your email draft. You can X out of the email or minimize to save as a draft
Replying
Click on the three dot icon to expand previous messages. If you keep conversation view enabled you can scroll through the thread for message history. To learn more about Conversation view, watch the short video below.

Show more options specific to that message
